The meeting was presided over by H.E. Dr. Bounfeng Phoummalaysit, Minister of Health, Ms. Mariam A. Khan, UNFPA Representative, Lao PDR and Dr. Latsamy Siengsounthone, Director General, Lao TPHI. This year the ARD is concentrating on “Promoting Adolescent Health and Development in the post COVID-19 context”, for achieving the goal of the Noi 2030 framework. More than 100 participants from government ministries, research institutions, 18 Provincial Health Offices, development partners, NGOs, CSO and international organizations from Lao PDR participated in the event.
